Welcome.

I’m glad you’re here. Choosing a counselor is an important decision. I hope this site will help you assess whether my counseling philosophy, style and techniques are a good fit for you.

When we feel stuck or challenged in life, counseling offers an opportunity for growth, healing and self-understanding. I provide counseling services to adults and teens in a professional, respectful and nonjudgmental manner. I believe that people have a natural drive towards mental and emotional wellbeing. As a therapist, it is my role to help my clients identify and remove obstacles that prevent them from living the lives they want.

I am committed to providing the best possible counseling experience for my clients’ personal development. If the time is right for you to move toward greater health and wholeness, I invite you to contact me.

Counseling and Creative Wellness

Adult Counseling

I work with adults to explore and identify areas of success in their lives, as well as areas where they are struggling. As a therapist, I believe it is my role to help my clients identify and remove obstacles in their paths toward health and wholeness. I help my clients examine how their thinking might be affecting the way they feel, and guide them to change thought patterns that are destructive and unhelpful.

Teen Counseling

I work with teenagers who are struggling with various issues, such as conflict at home or school, depression, anxiety, and social difficulty. The adolescent years are a tremendous time of growth and development. Although these years can be exciting as teens gain greater freedom, they can also be a time of significant stress related to increased responsibilities. Counseling can provide teens with support in managing feelings, strengthening relationships, communicating skillfully, and navigating challenging experiences with more confidence.

Fees and Insurance

My fee for service is $120 per 50-minute session.

Fee is due at the time of service and is payable by cash or credit card.

I do not currently accept insurance. I am considered an out-of-network provider. If you would like to use your insurance, please contact your insurance provider to see if they offer any “out of network” benefits. I will be happy to provide you with a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Counseling

Creative expression can be healing and art making can be therapeutic. The expressive arts help us communicate who we are when words fall short. I enjoy offering adults and teens a safe and inviting space to tap into their creativity individually and in small groups. Here are my current offerings:
